"When we respond to our baby's crying with empathy, sensitivity and understanding, our baby not only learns that we are treating him with a lot of love, but also learns what behavior he should internalize to treat others in the future."

Hello, mamis! Many of you have asked me about the wipes I use, and whenever we have debated we split into two camps, those that we are in favor of using them and those that do not.

I personally, if I use them, when I am at home, my little one always cleans her bum with water, soap and a sponge. It is the best thing to do since her skin is very delicate and as you know it has atopic skin and it immediately turns red When I'm out of the house I do not have any problem cleaning the culete with wipes, that's what they are for.

But to clean your hands, face and other of course I always use wipes, are very practical and I think more hygienic than using rags or cotton towels, it is true that when I read the ingredients I stay a little thinking, uf ... ..

They have a special smell but behind many of those wipes there is a lot of chemicals that today still use brands. The French National Agency for Safety of Medicines (ANSM, for its acronym in French) recommends companies reduce the concentration of phenoxyethanol to 0.4% in cosmetic products, especially if they are for babies, specifically for children under 3 years . It is a chemical present in wipes for babies, where this same organization advises to avoid it completely.

After looking for information it has become clear to me that the ingredients have to be read well and those that contain phenoxyethanol must be rejected, although they may also appear with the names sphenoxyethanol, phenoxytol or EGPhE.

The fonoxietanol is a chemical that is used as a preservative but when absorbed by the skin of the baby can cause damage to the liver and kidneys. It is not to play with the health of our babies.

Unfortunately it's legal to use those chemicals, I thought I'll use as little as possible with my small wipes, since the range of blue dodot or sentive has those chemicals camouflaged, until I saw in a forum that there were wipes that were free of chemical

They are obviously more expensive but it is worth the effort for our babies, there are many brands that make eco-friendly wipes free of chemicals and parabens. I continue to give a vote of confidence to dodot and finally have brought to the market pure aqua wipes that are 99% water made with organic cotton and most importantly 0% phenoxyethanol, parabens, perfume and alcohol.

I bought them yesterday and I can tell you that it shows the difference between one and another, I have it clear from now on my girl will only use this type of wipes, free of chemicals, using technology and exclusive dodot lotions, I I took the box that carry 432 units are 9 packs with 48 wipes, leaves the wipe at € 0.05 and have a plastic closure so they do not dry.

PD: In the carrefour there is a 50% offer that comes back, I took advantage to take the whole box, the offer is until June 20.
